Keys are made available to you by lock boxes at the property to allow you access at your convenience.  You can arrive any time after 3:00pm and depart by 11:00am.  Should you need an early arrival or late departure, please inquire in advance.  We will accommodate your need to drop luggage or leave fully packed luggage prior to your departure.  You can also ask for 1/2 day rates if you have a night flight or early morning arrival and want to ensure access.  Otherwise, access will be based on whether the unit is occupied immediately before you arrive or will be occupied the same day as you depart.

Reservations are not confirmed until payment of the Security Deposit and $300 towards Rent is paid.  The balance is due 1 week prior to your arrival or 10 days if you are paying from an overseas bank.  PayPal and major credit cards are accepted 5 or more days prior to rental with a 3.5% service fee payable by you (4.5% for international cards, mileage or corporate cards). Payment made in person at any Citibank, by electronic ACH bank transfer, and by bank wire are accepted without service fee.

Chicago tax of 15.49%

Additional guest fee of $20 per week or partial week

Cleaning $80-120.  This is for end of stay cleaning.  Other cleaning services available at additional cost.


$200 Deposit is required.  $400 Deposit if guests (other than children with their family) are under age 25.

Your Deposit will be forfeited if you cancel your reservation for any reason.  The Rent paid will be refunded if you cancel 4 weeks in advance and 50% will be refunded if you cancel 2 weeks in advance.  While we will make reasonable efforts to relet a unit, there is no guarantee we will be able to do so or that we will rent it for the full price.  Any replacement rental income, less a $200 convenience fee, will be offset against the Rent you paid and credited to you.


Minimum Stay of 3 Nights though preference will be given to guests requesting 4 Nights if Weekend night is included. 

Holidays and Special Events have a 4 Night minimum with Premium Rental Rate of $200+ or more.

PREMIUM RENTAL WEEKS include all major holidays and local event weekends including Chicago marathon, DePaul events, Pitchfork, Air & Water show, Lalapalooza, Cubs-Cardinals, and the like.

Last-minute discounts and shorter rentals are considered based on availability.

Discounts for longer stays are offered during the winter months only. 




Take I-190 East to I-90. Drive 10 miles and exit 47A, Fullerton Ave toward 2400 N. Head down Fullerton to Seminary and turn Left. Destination will be on the Left.

Public Transit

Take the Blue Line Subway to California. Walk two blocks South to Fullerton. Take bus 74 to Fullerton and Seminary. Walk one block to 2418 N. Seminary.

Head South on Cicero toward 59th St. Merge onto I-55 North. Exit 292A onto I-90/94. Take Exit 48B North Ave. Turn right onto North Ave. Turn left onto N Sheffield Ave. Turn Left on Fullerton. Turn Right on Seminary. Destination on Left

Public Transit

Take Orange Line Subway toward Loop. Get off on Roosevelt. Take Red Line toward Howard. Get off on Fullerton. Walk 0.2 miles to destination.

Shuttles From Airports

Shared rides and Shuttles are available from both Airports. Prices range from approximately $35-50 one-way.


This is a dog friendly building and neighborhood (Wiggly Field Dog Park is 4 blocks away).  Well-behaved pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis with a small fee of $50-200 depending on length of stay and type of dog. Due to Red’s severe allergies, no cats are permitted.


We are happy to provide a portable crib (pak-n-play).  We do ask that you provide your own baby sheet and that you fold up and put away the pak-n-play at the end of your stay.  As we only have one crib, be sure to reserve in advance.  Also, so my cleaner is spared trying to properly store it, please fold and put it in the provided protective cover before you depart.


The grill is for any guests use.  All trash and recycling must be taken to the City cans in the alley.  You can clean up the tables and chairs with rags and cleaner provided under your kitchen sink.

Grill equipment, beach towels and other items to make your stay as enjoyable as possible can be purchased during your stay.  Grill equipment including a tray, bbq tools and the like are provided for a one-time charge of $10.  Beach towels are a one-time charge of $5 each. Any items you use need to be returned to your unit.


Laundry facilities will be made available some evenings for guests staying longer than 10 days.
